The Middle East is where the three of the world’s major religions Christianity, Islam and Judaism were born. The predominant religion Islam has influenced its traditions, culture and also the festivals across the Arab Middle East.

The end of fasting month of Ramadan is marked by celebrations of Eid when people spill out on the streets of Middle East visiting friends and family along with fairs, music, dancing, fireworks, children's games and much more. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly and celebrations go on till late night. Eid ul-Fitr is celebrated for the good things received from God's bounty. It is also a day of forgetting old grudges and ill feeling towards others and is the greatest festival of Middle East.
